Every year our girls go through a mentorship program called the Alternative Rite of Passage where we mimic the traditional initiation ritual but without the cut. These girls go through training on a series of topics during the April and August holiday and in December we hold a graduation ceremony where both the girls and their parents make a declaration not to go through with the CUT.
